Organic Microcircuit

Interior / 2022

ABOUT

Made from wood, moss, and hyper-efficient LED lighting, this artistic depiction of a microcircuit was designed to represent our client’s company’s product.

Process

Programming

A microchip-manufacturing company hired our team to adorn the lobby of Teltonika Center. We proposed to design a wall that would depict a microcircuit.

Design

Using wooden panels, preserved moss, and cold light, we aimed to bring out natural as well as technological properties of the wall.

The object’s size (82 m2) presented a challenge: how to achieve a unified look without leaving visible lines between interconnecting panels? Taking the project to the next level, we were determined to eliminate unity-shattering lines and make a smooth interconnection possible.

Installation

We milled and assembled almost 40 panels, collectively weighing over 817 kilograms (1800 lbs), in addition to setting up the lighting and integrating moss.

We used the most effective natural materials to trap noise within their porous structures, making the surrounding atmosphere more soothing. maintenance free solution
